Rifto

Race: Clamdinger
Home Planet: Frick Frack
Items: Spaceship, Lazer Gun

Notes: Rifto is somewhat of an outcast to his race, due to the fact that he is one of the few Clamdingers to have found his conscience. He is constantly struggling with reconciling right and wrong due to his conscience. One of the affects his conscience has made on him is that it causes him to be more sympathetic toward those around him; even those who would call themselves his enemies. Rifto also deals with the feeling of shame because he now understands that his own race are blood thirsty tyrants bent on overtaking the Plants for Pants Galaxy. As Rifto finds himself in new places and meeting new people, he realizes that there is great animosity toward the Clamdingers. so he decides to introduce himself as Rifto the Clemdonger a more docile subspecies of Clamdinger (that is definitely not bent on control and annihilation). For a long time Rifto tries to distance himself from his people by traveling/crashing into other planets not yet under the control of the Clamdingers. Rifto not only finds himself running from his people but also a duo of Guards named Steve and Joe. They are constantly trying to capture Rifto in order to regain honor with their own people.

Steveween Binhand III

Race: Guard
Home Planet: Dalstar
Items: Spear, Handcuffs, Headband

Notes: Steve comes from a prestigious and respected line of Guards. Ironically he is very much a misfit. In school Steve didn’t really pay attention in class or finish his homework. He often played hooky from school. When he was at school he spent his time playing pranks on the teachers and classmates. Many times Steve would include his best friend Joe in his diversions. Steve’s antics usually got them both in trouble with the Council. This was terribly embarrassing for Steve’s whole family and especially embarrassing for his Father, who served in the Guard’s High Council. When graduations came around Steve was at the bottom of the class and had been put on the Council’s blacklist. When the time came for his one year review, Steve still hadn’t found someone to guard. The Council proceeded by banishing the wayward son from dwelling among his people. Now an outcast, Steve set out to gain honor (for the first time) and restore his family's reputation by fulfilling the Guard code; “to guard someone”. Steve would have gone this task alone if it wasn’t for Joe feeling sorry for him and joining him on his quest. One day Steve and Joe came across Rifto who had crash landed on the outskirts of the Guards kingdom (where Steve and Joe were living). Steve couldn’t help but see Rifto as an opportunity to finally fulfill the expectations of his family and people.
